Indoor T/F - Earned all-conference honors in the 60 meters, placing third with a time of 6.89...Also placed fifth in the 200 meters at the conference meet with a time of 21.94...Set a new career-best in the 60 meters with a time of 6.85 and competed in the 200 meter event, registering a 21.94 at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup...Had strong finishes in sprints at the Penn State National Invitational, placing fifth in the 60 meters with a time of 6.87 and fourth in the 200 after posting a mark of 22.08...Finished fifth in the 60 meters at the Penn State Open with a time of 6.92...At the Akron Quad, placed third in both the 60 meters and 200 meters...Began the season at Kent State's Golden Flash Gala with a second-place time of 6.86 in the 60 meters and a fifth-place mark of 21.90 in the 200 meters.
Outdoor T/F - Ran for a time of 10.84 and 15th place at the IC4A Championships...Contributed to a 13th place finish in the 1,600 meter relay with a time of 3:21.89 at the Big East Outdoor Track and Field Championships...At the Morgan State Legacy Meet, Perkins ran a personal best in the 100 meters (10.77) and finished in sixth place...Captured 20th in the 100 meters with a time of 10.80 at the Sea Ray Relays.
2005-06
Indoor T/F - Qualified for the Big East Championships in the 60 meters and 200 meters, placing sixth in the 1,600-meter relay...Placed fifth at the Akron Quad in the 60 meters and finished third in the 1,600-meter relay...Finished in the top 20 in the 1,600-meter relay at the Penn State Open.
Outdoor T/F - Competed in the IC4A Championships in the 100 meters...Placed fifth in the 100 meters at the Big East Championships and earned all-conference honors with a third-place finish in the 400-meter relay...Won the 400-meter relay at the Nittany Lion Relays and also placed third in the 200 meters and fourth in the 100 meters...Finished second in the 200 meters and fourth in the 100 meters at the Western PA Championships.
