PITTSBURGH-- The Pitt women's soccer head coach Sue-Moy Chin will be hosting two different camps at Trees Field this summer. The Girls ELITE 100 Camp is running for one session, while the Lil' Panthers Day Camp has two sessions.

 

Chin has been coaching college soccer for 12 years, and has coached 20 All-Americans and 13 players who competed in the WUSA. Joining Coach Chin will be assistant coach Barry Bimbi, who is entering his second season with the Panthers.

2008 SOCCER CAMPS:


 

 

 

Girls ELITE 100 Camp

Girls Ages 12-18

July 21-24

7 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Residential: $475

Commuter: $375

 

The Girls ELITE 100 Camp is a camp designed for advanced players who are looking to build their technical skills and game tactics by using advanced training techniques.

 

Girls ELITE 100 Camp Goalkeeper School

Girls Ages 12-18

July 21-24

7 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Residential: $475

Commuter: $375

 

The goalkeeper school will teach goalies the fundamental techniques of handling, footwork and distribution in an advanced setting.  They will also work on fitness and agility, angle play and decision making.

 

Lil' Panthers Day Camp

Boys and Girls Ages 4-11

Session I- June 9-12

Session II- June 23-26

Half-Day Campers:         9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Half-Day Price:              $110

Full-Day Campers:         9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Full-Day Price:               $165

 

The two sessions of the Lil' Panthers Day Camp will teach boys and girls ball skills, game rules and team play.
